Bio:

This work is a collaboration between Caryline Boreham and Andrea Daly who both presently work at Whitecliffe.

Andrea Daly lives in Tāmaki Makaurau. She is a studio-based jeweller, visual arts, and jewellery educator, and occasionally craft writer. She was a partner in ‘Fingers’ jewellery gallery for 26 years.

Andrea’s works always capture a narrative, and she is fascinated with our emersion in stories, their power over us, both those we are told, or we tell ourselves.

Daly currently works as a lecturer in the Jewellery studios at Whitecliffe and from her studio.

Caryline Boreham is a lens-based artist and educator living in Tāmaki Makaurau. She was awarded an MFA with first-class honours at Auckland University in 2010.

Working predominantly with medium format photography and moving image, her practice is an ongoing exploration of the built environment; with a particular interest in how people inhabit their surroundings and how the conditions of a space can dictate and influence the human psyche.

Boreham currently works as a lecturer in the Photo Media department at Whitecliffe.
